The vacuum web laminator is a fully automatic machine with PLC and PC control. It controls and displays critical parameters, monitors the process, displays current status and alerts the operator of any settable variances.
The lamination handles dual dry film web lamination with registration of both sides to the base substrate. It is capable of handling sub-mil thick webs (base substrate and dry film resist). There is controlled pressure and temperature across heated nip rollers as per customer requirements.

Additional features include closed-loop touch screen control vacuum chamber (9’x4’x4′) process with automatic chamber door (seals and pumps down to 0.1 Torr +/- 0.015 Torr within 5 minutes and 30 seconds back to atmosphere); gantry driven 3″ thick chamber door (9’x4′ 2000 lbs) with full clean room enclosure (including lighting and sprinkler system); and an added safety element with area floor scan of room during activation of chamber door motion.
Vacuum Chamber
The entire laminator system is contained within the vacuum chamber with maintained alignment of all rollers (both in atmosphere and vacuum-down operating condition) with precision control of web tension, web speed and web alignment throughout the entire operation.
