Energy Storage Project Partnership Leads to Increased Volume Manufacturing

Northfield Automation Systems (NAS) is working with an energy storage customer on turnkey manufacturing lines for their new United States-based facility.

Having provided initial roll-to-roll manufacturing lines for the customer’s west coast location, NAS is now working on the phase II scale-up for a new factory that will allow for 10-times expansion from the original volume of manufacturing.

NAS is proud to have been brought into this cutting-edge technology at the ground level and to provide a manufacturing line solution for the customer’s product’s requirements. This custom-designed and built NAS roll-to-roll solution proved successful with its launch, allowing the customer to go from manual panel manufacturing to turnkey roll-to-roll manufacturing.

This joint success allows both NAS and our energy storage customer to participate in the exciting next phase of this increased volume manufacturing need. By working closely with our customers and better understanding their products, we’re able to develop a best-fit process solution for reliable volume manufacturing.
