Northfield Automation Systems Awarded Contract to Design and Build Energy Storage Manufacturing Line

Despite supply chain challenges, Northfield Automation Systems (NAS) secures high-volume energy storage manufacturing line project.

Recently, NAS was awarded a contract for the design and build of a turnkey phase 1 manufacturing roll-to-roll line. This project requires NAS to identify how to achieve the requirements identified in panel and piece part format for the high-volume roll-to-roll wide format web process. This requires different methods of processing for the higher speed and wider web application, which is necessary to meet the volume demand at the price point necessary to manufacture. This includes having proper controls and closed loop feedback to maintain process optimization as well as process repeatability.
