February 18–24, 2018, marks National Engineers Week. Started by the National Society of Professional Engineers, the week calls attention to the contributions to society that engineers make. It is also a time for engineers to emphasize the importance of learning math, science and technical skills.
The weeklong celebration is observed by more than 70 engineering, education and cultural societies and more than 50 corporations and government agencies.
National Engineers Week is the only event of its kind and encourages year-round efforts to:
- Celebrate how engineers make a difference in our world
- Increase public dialogue about the need for engineers
- Bring engineering to life for kids, educators and parents
At Northfield Automation Systems, we are proud to bring to bear on behalf of our clients and customers several decades of combined experience in the automation manufacturing engineering and process manufacturing fields.
