Wegner to Speak: Changing the Game for Electronics Manufacturers
Northfield Automation Systems' president and co-founder Mark Wegner will be a featured speaker at next week's Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference. Invited to speak by the FlexTech Alliance, his presentation will take place during session 15 (Thursday, Feb. 10, 8 a.m.). Wegner's presentation is titled Changing the Game for Electronics Manufacturers Using Roll-to-Roll
and will cover items ranging from the importance of understanding the form factor of products used in display and printed electronics to the various – and emerging – roll-to-roll opportunities for precision manufacturers.
Wegner has nearly 20 years of roll-to-roll engineering and process equipment manufacturing experience. Prior to founding Northfield Automation Systems, he served as Process Engineering Manager as well as R&D Engineer for Sheldahl. His extensive background includes broad expertise in roll-to-roll flexible printed circuits, films, foils of all types, sensitive product configurations and highly focused, custom application design. He holds a B.S. in both physics and mathematics from the University of Minnesota.
